BSF, JKP launch joint search operation in Swankha forest belt

SAMBA: To gather more evidences with regard to Fidayeen attack on army camp at Nagrota on 29th November 2016, in which seven army personnel including two officers were martyred, a joint search operation by BSF, SOG and JKP was launched here in the forest areas of Swankha Morh in Vijaypur.
According to reports, nothing substantial was found during the search operation.
On Thursday evening, one person namely Prem Lal, son of Jia Lal, resident of Nanga, who owned a computer shop at Swankha Morh, was picked-up by NIA and CI from his business establishment. However, his brother namely Pawan Kumar alias Pangu, who was running a chemist shop in the same area owned by Prem Lal is absconding. Sources infor-med that medicines recovered from the possession of slain Fidayeens who attacked Nag-rota Army Camp were purchased from the shop of Pangu and in a bid to nab those who helped Fidayeens to reach Nagrota and carry out this cowardly act, the joint team of NIA and JKP launched this search operation.
