BSF jawans allege inhuman treatment

Akhnoor: Alleging ill-treatment, physical assault and lodging them in tents during day time under the scorching sun, three jawans of 33 Battalion of Border Security Forces here have levelled charges against senior officers in a press conference orgnaised here on Friday.
The Jawans Constable Kaptan Singh resident of Majra Davas of Delhi 12 years service, Constable Sunil Kumar resident of Saproli village tehsil Vadoot District Baghpat Uttar Pardesh 15 years of service who was accompanied by his wife Babli Devi and Constable Kamal Kumar resident of village Jurawan Pur Barari District Vaishali of Bihar 22 years of service had an interaction with media.
All these Jawans while talking to media alleged that Commanding Officer of the Battalion Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adjutant Ajay Vir Singh and Doctor Amit Kumar are responsible for them discomfort. They expressed fear that because of inhuman treatment by the senior officers their own as well as their families safety in danger.
They alleged that senior officers have refused annual leave which is a casue of extreme anxiety. The Jawans said they have written to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) BSF several times but have not received any assurance.
