JAMMU: The BSF Jammu shall be playing against their counterparts from BSF Kashmir in the final of the State Hockey Championship, organised by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakku Stadium, here tomorrow at 3:00 PM.
Earlier, in the semifinals, decided on Monday, BSF Jammu defeated district Poonch 6-5 via tie-breaker.
In the stipulated time the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Later, in the penalty shootouts, BSF Jammu emerged victorious converting four chances into goal.
In other semifinal, BSF Kashmir trounced Jammu Rural 2-1. Devinder and Kamal were scorers from winners BSF Kashmir while Manpreet scored the lone goal for Jammu Rural. Today’s semifinals were witnessed besides others by Staff Officer to ADGP, M.Y Kitchloo, who was Special Guest.
The semifinals were officiated by the technical panel including Tejinder Singh, Angad Singh and Ranveet Singh.
