POONCH: The BSB Club won the opening match of the District Poonch Hockey Championship which is being organised by Hockey J&K at Synthetic turf, here today.
The BSB Hockey Club made it a 3-1 win to strengthen their position. Earlier, the event was declared open by Prem Parkash Luthra, retired district (DYSS) officer, who was chief guest in the opening match. Veteran hockey player, Dalip Kumar was guest of honour. Parvinder Singh, ex-Councillor was special guest.
Among other distinguished guests present were Onkar Singh, Manmohan Singh, Raj Kumar, Bhupinder Kumar, Kewal Krishan, Gaurav Sharma, Jasmeet Singh and Sanjay Mishri.
The technical panel in today’s match comprised Matinder Pal Singh, Ritika Sharma and Ranveet Singh.
The event is being held under the guidance of Matinder Pal Singh and Parvinder Singh.
