Brutal assault on Hotel manager, staff

JAMMU: The shocking assault at a Trikuta Nagar hotel staff involving Mohit Aggarwal and Shashank Aggarwal, sons of local businessman Rakesh Aggarwal, has taken a serious turn as the three accused—Aggarwal brothers and one Arun Choudhary remain at large. The violent attack, which left two hotel staff members gravely injured, has also sparked outrage across the city. Locals demanding action against these criminal minded Aggarwal brothers who called goons to attack hotel staff over bill payment dispute.
FIR (1/25) under sections 332-C 191(2), 115 (2), 324 (4), 352, 351 (2) has been registered against the accused Mohit Aggarwal, Shashank Aggarwal, both sons of local businessman Rakesh Aggarwal, whose name had also surfaced in Anara Sex Scandal.
The incident, which began on Dec 31 night as a dispute over a bill, quickly escalated when Mohit and Shashank Aggarwal physically attacked the staff after refusing to settle their dues. According to eyewitnesses, the brothers left the scene only to return with a group of goons led by Arun Choudhary. The mob unleashed a brutal assault, leaving the hotel manager with severe head injuries and another staff member with facial fractures.
The victims of the attack are recovering from their injuries. One of the staff members is undergoing treatment for facial fractures and may require reconstructive surgery, while the hotel manager remains under medical observation.
Despite multiple raids, the Aggarwal brothers and Arun Choudhary remain at large. Police have gathered crucial evidence, including CCTV footage from the hotel, which has confirmed their involvement.
A senior police officer involved in the investigation said, “We are leaving no stone unturned to bring the culprits to justice. If necessary, lookout alert notices will be issued to ensure they cannot escape the law.”
The senior officer further said that the police department remains steadfast in its commitment to justice and integrity. “We do not bow to political influence or any external pressures, nor will we tolerate any of our officers accepting bribes to show leniency toward these perpetrators.”
“We have zero-tolerance policy for corruption and unlawful behaviour of Aggarwal brothers, the officer said adding, “Our clear message that justice will be served impartially, regardless of money power or influence of those involved in attack on hotel staffers.”
