JAMMU: President, All India Kissan Sahha, Dr G.S Charak asked the BSNL authorities to bring uniformity in the rent stipulated for BSNL towers.
In a handout issued here on Friday, he demanded that BSNL authorities should fix the rent of the towers in uniformity within and outside Municipal limits to bring transparency in the matter.
He said that stakeholders want that authorities should revise the rent of the towers at par with other companies including Airtel, Aircel, Reliance, etc for putting an end to discrimination.
He also asked the concerned BSNL authorities to ensure better services by replacing the damaged transformers and DG sets as most of the subscribers often complain of faulty service by BSNL as compared to services provided by its competitors.
