Brahmin Sabha resents Govt’s apathy

NOWSHERA : Strongly resenting the apathetic attitude of Government of Jammu and Kashmir towards the flood victims of border districts of Rajouri and Poonch, the Brahmin Sabha (BS) President Vijay Kumar Bakshi said that no relief has been given to the kiths and kin of those who were washed away in flood and also who suffered heavy loss to their houses, crops and other property.
They said that no Union Minister, Chief Minister or any other State Minister visited the spot where over 70 persons were washed away in one incident and about 30 bodies are still untraceable.
They appealed to the government to provide immediately the relief amount released by the Prime Minister. Prominent among those who participated in the meeting include Ashok Sharma, Vinod Kumr, Pt Narinder Sharma, Raj Kumar Sharma and Gopal Sharma.
