Boycott DDC elections: Sainik Samaj Party

JAMMU: Colonel S.S Pathania, President Sainik Samaj Party, JKUT urged the people of Jammu region to completely boycott District Development Committee (DDC) elections, against the discrimination people of Jammu region, have been subjected by Union Government and also continuous appeasement policy towards Kashmir region.
“Basing delimitation on the highly fudged and manipulated census figures of 2011, double allocation of Covid funds to Kashmir, converting Jammu region as region of toll plaza, selection of 122 teachers for Kashmiri language against 5 teachers for Dogri language, selection of 90 per cent candidates from Kashmir vis a vis 10 per cent from Jammu, has brought great anger and frustration in the minds of people of Jammu region. Union government, response to formulation of anti national Gupkar alliance, and their continuous challenge to power of union government, and its inaction has also irked the nationalist people of Jammu region immensely,” Col Pathania said in a statement issued here on Tuesday.
Pathania urged the Union Government to deal firmly with opportunist and anti national Gupkar alliance, as they are likely to pose a grave danger to Indian democracy and may threaten the security and sovereignty of our nation. He further demanded that, some reservation be made for ex servicemen in each district committee to show our appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by them.
He urged the cadre of Sainik Samaj Party, JKUT to start the drive for complete boycott of District Development Council and educate people accordingly. Now, is the time to get united and finish the discrimination, exploitation, oppression, and fear of democratic Jehadi, unleashed by Kashmir regime, on people of Jammu for last 73 years and leave a good legacy for our coming generations.
