Through your esteemed daily attention is drawn of the concerned authorities towards the problem countenanced by the residents of Jammu and far-flung area of Jammu.
This is a fact that National Highway Jammu to Srinagar generally remains closed during abnormal weather. Sometimes landslides on roads, especially in those days when the counselling is kept in the month of June/July in Srinagar, the rains show their image.
During last year the counseling for medical students was kept in the Office of BOPEE Bhagati Burzulla Srinagar. The candidates who went to Srinagar remained inconvenient, specially female candidates who had gone from Jammu, Samba and Kathua Districts had to spend huge money in hotels. Considering this botheration for poor candidates from Jammu/ border belt, we would request the concernd authority that the counselling for Jammu candidates i.e in medical/engineering should be in Jammu at BOPEE Office South Block Bahu Plaza Jammu.
Similarly, the candidates hailing from Srinagar and far-flung area their counseling for medical/engineering courses should be in Office of BOPEE Bhagati Burzulla Srinagar to avoid inconvenience.
This will surely appeal to the BOPEE Authority for the welfare of candidates of both the regions.
