REASI: Police on Saturday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 223 pouches of liquor from his house during a raid.
According to a report, a police team led by Mohan Lal, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi along with Inspector Dalip Singh, SHO Police Station Reasi acting on a specific input, raided the house of one Parshotam Lal son of Sansar Chand resident of Bhaga. During the checking of house, police recovered 223 pouches of J and K Excise Liquor. The accused person was arrested and liquor pouches were seized.
A case vide FIR No. 55/2016 under section 48 A Excise Act was registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation of the case is in progress.
