JAMMU: The J and K Body Building team has left for the 14th Federation Cup Senior Men’s Body Building, women’s Model Physique and Men Sports Physique Body Building Championship 2025, Scheduled for February 22nd to 23rd at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Rajesh Dutta an office bearer of the Body Building Association of J and K ( BBAJK), Flagged off the team and appreciated the team, wishing them in the National event.
Rajesh Address, the Championship aimed not only to promote sportsmanship but also to encourage the youth of J and K UT to engage in healthy activities and move away from social evils, including the growing problem of drug addiction in the region. He stated, ‘The increasing prevalence of drug addiction is a serious threat to our society. Events like the Body Building championship provide an excellent platform to engage the youth in positive pursuits, keeping them away from such destructive habits. It is our collective responsibility to encourage sports and other constructive activities to build a healthier and brighter future for our younger generation’’.
Athletes Mohd. Javed, Parul Kalsi and Ankush Sharma were part of the team who left for upcoming 14th Federation Cup 2025.
Other office bearer of the Association including Vinay Sharma, Naresh Gupta and Nand Kishore were also present to encourage and support the athletes.
