JAMMU: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with ESRM presented musical play ‘Maa Ka Dudh’ in connection with celebration of World Breast Feeding Week here on Saturday.
The play was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
The programme was inaugurated by J.K Raina, Producer, Director Films whereas V.K Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India and Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, J and K Health Department were the Guests of Honour.
Music of the play was composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS. In addition to the above skits, the associates groups Sangam Tru Art Production presented programmes at various blocks and villages of Jammu District at Kot Bhalwal, Marh, Peer Baba Janipur, Akalpur, Raipur, Seri Pandita, Nargota and Bishnah from 1st to 7th August, 2016.
Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, M.L Dogra also spoke on the occasion.
Those who performed were Usha Handoo, Sanjeev Sodhi, Pooja Gupta, Janvi Arora, Nitika Verma, Salman Batti, Yugal Kishore, Kuldeep Raj, Ghanshyam Yadav, Nazuk Bhagat, Ritesh Magotra, Sunil Kumar, Aryan Verma, Surinder Verma, Hem Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Samarth Gupta and L-Danika. Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
