POONCH: Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP) DAR Poonch, M.R Giri said population of the country is increasingly in a very fast speed and developing the right perspective of the youth is one of the biggest challenges in front of society.
Dy SP DAR, the Chief Guest, was speaking in the closing ceremony of two-day Block level Inter Youth Club Sports Tournament organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch at Government Higher Secondary School Shindhara, here on Sunday.
“District Police Poonch is also actively involved in channelising the energy of the youth in the right direction and effort of Nehru Yuva Kendra in the same direction is an appreciable step,” he said adding that every Indian is stakeholder in the process of national integration and development. Other prominent persons present on the occasion included Principal of the host School, Subash Khajuria, Incharge NYK Poonch, Kamal Kumar Sharma, Chairman Panchayat Mohd Latief, Sarpanch Manzoor Hussain, Panchs of the area, public, staff of the school and participants from different blocks and schools. Subash Khajuria appreciated the efforts of the Nehru Kendra for organising the event in the school to channelise energy of the youth in the right direction. Vote of thanks was presented by Kamal Kumar Sharma.
