Black-marketing of Govt ration;Kissan Flour Mill black-listed; six dealers terminated

JAMMU: The CAPD Minister Zulkar Ali Choudhary on Thursday blacklisted Kissan Flour Mill and terminated six ration dealers for their involvement in black marketting of government ration.
“We have terminated six dealers and Kissan Flour mill has also been blacklisted from department after some illegally smuggled ration trucks were seized by police in Jammu, CAPD Minister Zulfkar Ali Chourdhary told STATE TIMES.
Channi Himmat police has arrested a supervisor and storekeeper of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department for misappropriation of Government ration.
Police said, the government ration meant for registered rationees worth lakhs was diverted to M/s Kissan Flour Mills. During raid, Channi Himmat police seized two truck loaded with Government ration, which was loaded from CAPD Store at Chatha. The accused have been identified as Rakesh Kumar Chib, storekeeper Chatha store and Ranjit Singh, Supervisor, police said.
South Jammu SP Shahad Salaria said, “We are investigating the case as two trucks have been seized from the Kissan Flour Mill.”
Meanwhile the department has suspended licenses of the ration dealers including Faquir Chand, dealer, Gurha Brahamana, Arjun Singh, dealer, Talayana Dharam Pal, dealer, Palassra and Poonam Sharma, dealer Gadigarh.
