STATE TIMES NEWS
BILLAWAR: Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha Billawar has rebuffed the former minister Dr. Manohar Lal’s statement and termed it as the frustration of opposition as Billawar constituency has witnessed many development works in very short span as Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh has reiterated on many occasions that he is committed to holistic development of Billawar Constituency.
Office bearers of BJYM Billawar in a joint statement said that constituency has witnessed development activities like expansion of road infrastructure, blacktopping of major and link roads, improved potable water facility, power infrastructure etc. By organising Janta Darbar at grass root level, grievances of people have been resolved on the spot and in a transparent manner.
People of Billawar had seen the former minister’s tenure when favouritism and nepotism were on peak and no hearing of genuine problems of people was there. “Corrupt practices galore in development activities” blamed BJYM activists.
BJYM welcomed the decision of the Govt for Billawar, that ADC Kathua 2nd will remain available for three days every week to solve the problems and to address the issues of local people. BJYM activists terms this as big achievement of BJP-PDP Govt. The joint statement was issued by Vipan Sharma, Mandal President BJYM Mandal Ramkot, Gen. Secretary Surinder Kumar, Gen. Secy. Pawan Kumar, Vice President Deepak Gupta, Vice President Som Dutt and District Gen Sec Nirmal Kumar.
