JAMMU: To provide better infrastructure to the masses of Jammu West Assembly segment, various developmental works were started in Rajpura and New Plot areas of Ward Numbers 29 and 16 by the BJP leaders.
Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) officials and a number of political activists were also present on the occasion.
The works were started by District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta along with State Vice President BJYM Karan Sat Sharma, State Office Secretary BJP Rajinder Sharma and others in Lane Number 6 of Rajpura and Lane Number 19 and 20 of Jawahar Nagar area of New Plot. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rs 10n lakh.
Ayodhya Gupta said that on the directions of State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma various works were commenced to provide the public with best infrastructure possible in their areas. He also stated that many new works will also start in coming days which will improve the system of providing basic amenities to the masses of Jammu West.
JE JMC Tangnoo, Mandal Presidents BJP Vijay Sharma and Jeet Angral, Ajay Vaid, Prem Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Meera Samral, Rakesh Mishra, Surinder Choudhary, Sanjay Sawhney, Puran Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Abhishek, Atul Bakshi, Rohit, Pardeep Gupta, Pardeep Sharma and Mangat Ram were also present.
