JAMMU: Newly elected MLA from Raipur-Domana Assembly segment and General Secretary of the State unit of BJP, Bali Bhagat on Saturday assured that BJP would take every possible step to resolve all the issues of the masses.
Addressing a public meeting at Ganga Nagar area of Bantalab, Bali Bhagat said that by giving over-whelming support to BJP in the just concluded Assembly polls, people of Jammu region have put great responsibility on the newly elected MLAs of the party. “We will shoulder this responsibility with dedication and sincerity as our sole aim is to serve the people”, Bali Bhagat said while expressing his gratitude towards voters of Raipur-Domana assembly segment for support to BJP.
“Politics of BJP is not just to enjoy power but our politics is to serve the people with dedication and commitment”, he said and assured the people that as their representative he would serve them with full zeal and commitment.
Recalling history of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, Bhagat said that power was never been a priority of BJP in this State.
“Unlike other parties we never run for power. Our aim is to the protect dignity and honour of the people who have provided over-whelming support to the party”, Bhagat said and assured the people that BJP would always protect their wishes and aspirations.
Responding to the demands of the people, Bhagat said that he has already decided to initiate developmental activities in his constituency with the public participation. “I would take consent of the local population while starting any developmental project in this constituency”, he said.
