IS IT A CRUEL JOKE?
JAMMU: The chief architect of the PDP-BJP Government in Jammu and Kashmir Ram Madhav has good news for people of the State as also the ministers, or say, beneficiaries of the coalition arrangement. Madhav’s reassuring message to the people is that there is no tension between the coalition partners or differences on any matter. Therefore, the people will obviously witness an era of development and ‘Achhe Din’ in good measure. For the ministers, nothing can be as soothing news than continued tenure of six years in office. No issues over the latter proposition but are the PDP and BJP really on the same page; this is a million dollar question.
Believe Ram Madhav’s doctrine of no differences between the PDP-BJP-duo, the West Pakistan Refugees settled in Jammu have a huge reason to cheer up, as grant of citizenship rights is just a step away. When there is no point of difference then the two parties will obviously turn a big leaf by taking a bold initiative on this contentious issue in the next possible Cabinet meeting. The two parties are comfortably placed in the Legislative Assembly with 56 legislators and, therefore, if need be, statutory sanction can be obtained without any hassle.
The issue of return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in composite townships back in the Valley will also see no hiccup with both the ‘made for each other’ parties overcoming the contemptuous euphoria over ‘ghettos’ and ‘ Israeli type townships’. The votaries of this vicious and orchestrated campaign will get automatically isolated, as the general masses, especially the Kashmir centric leaders are on record having reiterated time and again that Kashmir is incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits. The PDP will replicate the Budshah era, which had reportedly ensured the return of Kashmiri Pandits after their persecution and subjugation.
Ram Madhav’s soothing disclosure also rekindles hope among the agitating Jammu civil society over establishment of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the winter capital as also time bound completion of the Artificial Tawi Lake Project. The people of the Jammu region will ignore Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed’s wish of abandoning this mega project as an aberration.
As there are no difference between the two coalition partners, as per the BJP National General Secretary, the saffron party will be only a willing partner in fulfilling the deep yearning of PDP to revoke Armed Forces Special Powers Act and reducing the footprints of the army from the civilian areas. It will also be a facilitator in ‘rehabilitating’ terrorists, along with their wives and good strength of children, crossing over to this side illegally from their safe havens in Pakistan and Pak occupied Kashmir, to live reformed lives. No issues if they later turn as active terrorists or become sleeper cells.
The BJP, having no differences with the PDP, will also prevail upon the High Command and Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre to allow return of the last remains of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru to his native village, even if turns out a huge turning point in reviving the ‘secessionist movement’ in sensitive and volatile Valley.
Since there are no differences between the ruling combination, there will be no issues over carving out a huge space for ace separatists and chronic secessionists, in accordance with the political philosophy of PDP, which believes in ” Gole Se Na Goli Se, Baat Banegi Boli Se”. As this philosophy forms part of the Agenda of Alliance, therefore, all and sundry, from Masarat Alam to Asiya Andrabi, all will be free to practice, profess and preach their philosophy, which revolves round Pakistan. The BJP will go a step further in giving long rope to waving of Pakistani flags across the Valley and in parts of Jammu. Kishtwar has witnessed ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’ unfurling. More areas will be covered in near future with kind courtesy of the BJP, as there are no differences between the ruling partners, according to Ram Madhav.
The man from Nagpur and ‘conscience keeper’ of the BJP is doing a yeomen job in Jammu and Kashmir, which is why he has become darling of the senior coalition partner for his ‘forward looking and revolutionary thought process’ and a household name in the Valley. Keep it on, buddy!
