BJP-PDP Govt failed to make Jammu a Smart City: JWAM

JAMMU: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) on Saturday staged protest against the BJP-PDP Coalition Government for its failure to make Jammu a Smart City.
Led by President JWAM, Sunil Dimple, the activists assembled at Janipur High Court Road and raised slogans against State Coalition Government. Dimple said after the completion of two-years BJP-PDP Government under the Chief Ministership of Mehbooba Mufti in the J&K State, the coalition government has been miserably failed to make Jammu a Smart City. He alleged that the people of Jammu regions has been facing problems being related to the basic amenities i.e, road, electricity, water, ration, traffic problem, etc. He emphasized that the government has been failed to develop Jammu city and no development has been taken place in the Jammu region for the last two years. He urged the Deputy Chief Minister to start the construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi, Jewal Chowk and construct alternative circular roads at Amphalla, Janipur, Roop Nagar, Bantalab, Talab Tillo, Bhagwati Nagar, Canal Road, etc to ease the traffic problem.
Dimple announced the JWAM will fight for the ouster of the Rohingyas, Bangladeshis and foreigner nationals from the State. He informed that further course of action will be chalked out in the joint meeting of all organization which is scheduled to held on Sunday, the 19th of March.
