BJP- PDP alliance failed on all fronts: Niaz

JAMMU: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Mohammed Sharief Niaz has alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Coalition Government has failed on all fronts.
“Uncertainty and disappointment among people of State is increasing day-by-day,” he said adding that the only achievement that they have made is politically vicitimsing Congress leaders and workers.
Niaz alleged that link roads, electricity, PHE and irrigation schemes in District Doda are in deplorable condition as a result people of the area suffer badly.
He further said that due to unprecedented rains hundreds of houses at Bhadarwah, Bhallessa and Chiralla have been fully damaged but no ex-gratia relief has been sanctioned to affected families till dtae by the government
Niaz demanded financial assistance to the affected families on the pattern of Kashmir flood affected people of September 2014.
Condemning new recruitment policy, Niaz termed it as a decision to foster corruption, favouratism, nepotism and exploitation of youth.
Niaz demanded that this policy must be withdrawn and jobs be provided to educated unemployed youth through SSRB and PSC on merit and fast track basis.
Niaz also demanded for conducting of exams of paramedical students, reinstatement of all terminated employees, release pending wages, honorarium of casual labourers etc.
Demanding establishment of AIIMS, IIT and IIM at both Jammu and Srinagar region, Niaz said if UPA government can establish two central universities in Jammu and Srinagar that why NDA can’t establish AIIMS at both regions.
