BJP pays tributes to PM Modi’s mother Heeraban

JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir led by its senior leaders paid floral tributes to Heeraban, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here on Friday.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, BJP National Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, MP (Rajya Sabha) Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, former Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy CM Kavinder Gupta, former President Ashok Khajuria, former State President Sat Sharma, BJP Vice-President Surjit Singh Salathia, BJP Vice-President Sham Lal Sharma and other senior party leaders spoke on the occasion giving warm tributes to the heavenly bound soul. Ravinder Raina, while paying tributes, said that as soon as the news of ill health of PM’s mother poured in, the whole Nation was praying for her health. He remembered the moment when the Prime Minister talked about the hardships faced by PM’s mother to meet the ends of the family. He said that the mother of the PM provided the necessary values, principles and ethics in the family. Such was the influence of her teachings that her one son, PM Modi is today guiding the whole world with his conscience and decisions. Ashok Koul, while paying tributes to the mother of PM, said that she quietly left for the heavenly abode early this morning. He said that the Prime Minister performed the last rites of his mother with simplicity while returning for his duties towards the Nation. We all bow in the feet of such a great mother and pray to Almighty to provide her with Moksha.
