BJP pays tributes to Ch Piara Singh

JAMMU: The J&K BJP organized a ‘Shradhanjali Sabha’ at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to pay floral tributes to Ch. Piara Singh, former MLA and veteran BJP leader. The event was attended by family members of Ch. Piara Singh and hundreds of party leaders, who shared their thoughts and memories of the late leader.Sat Sharma, President of J&K BJP, praised Ch. Piara Singh as a prominent political and social figure, emphasizing his dedication to family, community, and society. He highlighted how Piara Singh promoted deserving individuals within the party for the greater benefit of society. Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), lauded Piara Singh’s lifelong commitment to social activism, noting his dedication to public welfare.Ch. Vikram Randhawa, the son of Ch. Piara Singh, recounted his father’s struggles, including the loss of his own father at an early age and his subsequent dedication to supporting his family and the people of Jammu. He also mentioned his father’s leadership in the Jat Sabha, All J&K Motor Transport Association, and All J&K Motors Financiers Association. Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP, spoke of Ch. Piara Singh’s enduring concern for society. Several other leaders, including Ravinder Raina, Kavinder Gupta, Sham Lal Sharma, Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, and Chander Prakash Ganga, Dr. Devinder Manyal, shared tributes, recalling Ch. Piara Singh’s political contributions, boldness, and selflessness.
