BJP pays tributes to Bansi Lal Bharti

JAMMU: The state unit of BJP paid tributes to its founder member and senior leader Bansi Lal Bharti at a condolence meeting organised here at party Headquarters on Sunday.
State President and MLA Sat Sharma, in his tributes, termed the demise of Bharti as a great loss to the party and also to the society and said that he was a multifaceted personality having commitment for the cause of the society without any wish for a post.
Dy. Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh, while paying tributes to Bansi Lal Bharti, said that that he got associated with RSS and BJP in the times when the weaker sections used to maintain distance from these organisations. “For Bharti, self was never a priority. Such leaders are born to write history and rule the minds of people,” he added.
BJP State General Secretary, Harinder Gupta conducted the proceedings of the Shouk Sabha. The meeting also observed two minutes silence for the peace of the departed soul.
Speaker, J&K Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, PHE Minister Sham Choudhary, MoS Education Priya Sethi, senior leader Suresh Jamwal, MLC Charnjit Singh Khalsa, State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, MLC Ashok Khajuria, SC Morcha State President and MLA Dr. Davinder Manyal, Senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma and N.D Rajwal also paid their tributes.
