BJP MLCs to take up AMEAK issue with CM

JAMMU: Maintaining that BJP is committed to solve the genuine problems of employees protesting under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir (AMEAK), BJP core committee member and MLC Ramesh Arora said that concern of the BJP is that salaries of protesting employees should be released without any delay so that there will be no add up in their worries.
Addressing employees at the protest site, Arora said that BJP is well aware of the problems being faced by the employees after they have returned to Jammu due to unrest and mob violence in Valley. He said that BJP wants there should be no delay in release of salaries for employees at the present moment. He said that he along with MLC Surinder Ambardar has discussed their salary issue in detail with Financial Commissioner B.B Vyas and Relief Commissioner (Migrants) and both the officials have assured that all the PM’s package employees and others will get salaries credited in their accounts very soon.
Further, he said that BJP core committee has decided to meet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in this context to address every issue regarding employees.
Surinder Ambardar said that BJP is committed to address issues of employees with the passage of time but at present their priority is to ensure release of employees’ salaries so that their families will not face any financial constraint.
Meanwhile, Lok Janshakhti Party National Youth President and National Spokesperson Sanjay Saraf also addressed the protesting employees and assured them that their party will strongly plead their case. “No one will force you to join your duties in the prevailing circumstances and no one will stop your salaries,” he added.
APMCC Chairman, Vinod Pandit said that it is very pathetic that for last more than one month employees are on peaceful protest but unfortunately no one from the government side is ready to consider their demand. The protest of employees under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association has entered day 31 on Friday.
