KATHUA : The Kathua Police taking cognisance of the attack by one Harshu Singh, the nephew of Forest Minister Lal Singh on one Amit Sharma of Balaji Transport Lakhanpur, has booked the latter under relevant sections of CrPC.
According to the case the accused Harshu Singh son of Mohan Singh and nephew of Choudhary Lal Singh Health Minister, attacked the victim after entering into his office, ransacking the furniture and breaking thick glasses of the doors and windows on 20th January, 2017. The accused also hurled threats to the victim for the worst, he being the nephew of Cabinet Minister. The victim lodged a complaint in the Police Station Lakhanpur and police team reached the spot and took stock of the breakage and damage.
The SHO Lakhanpur has registered an FIR 7/2017 under section 451 and 427 of RPC against Harshu Singh son of Mohan Singh, resident of Ward No 2, Kathua for investigation.
