BJP ministers challenged for a face-off with JKNPP Chairman;Young Panthers accuse BJP of using pigmies, mavericks to counter Harsh Dev Singh

JAMMU: Ridiculing the statement of the so called spokesman of BJP accusing Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP of misleading people, the Young Panthers challenged the senior leadership of BJP for a one to one discussion with the Panthers Chairman rather than operating through non entities like Balbir Ram Rattan.
Vilakshan Singh, State General Secretary Young Panthers, said that Harsh Dev Singh is the most learned politician of the State whose political sagacity and maturity has been acknowledged by various Chief Ministers, Speakers and general public.
He said that BJP must recollect that a highly revered politician, Harsh Dev was even invited by the Mufti Sayeed led BJP-PDP Government to give orientation and training to more than 50 legislators. He said that Harsh was consulted by various presiding officers including Assembly Speakers during proceedings of Assembly who turned on him to resolve various complicated issues.
He said that Harsh Dev has been the most popular Education Minister who transformed the educational profile in the State by his administrative acumen and political will adding that it was ironical that BJP was using a maverick, an apparently illiterate person to counter the most outstanding parliamentarian of the State who had 18 years experience as legislator besides being the best performing minister.
He said that a political novice was being used by BJP to make statements against Panthers leader on various occasions including the recent statement on ‘Regional parties’ which was absurd and ludicrous and indicated the bafflement and alarm created in the saffron brigade.
Taking a pot-shot at the political bankruptcy of BJP, Pavan Dev Singh State Secretary Young Panthers expressed dismay over the BJP using a political novice to counter the statement of a political stalwart known for authenticity of his facts and figures the state over. He said that BJP ministers who had been thoroughly exposed and unrobed by the Panthers Chairman were so frustrated that they were using a non entity to make ridiculous statements against Harsh Dev Singh. He cautioned the ministers that the so called Balbir Ram Rattan was a pigmy before the Panthers leader and that they should themselves come out of their hideouts and face Harsh Dev Singh in case they had any qualms of conscience.
Young Panthers Leaders said that the BJP ministers have been rightly accused of astounding betrayal of Jammu people besides violation of institutional propriety, and they should come clear rather than using a pigmy in their vain attempts to counter Harsh Dev
Singh who is established and acknowledged crusader for the cause of Jammu region. Panthers leaders’ said that by concocting stories and obfuscating truth the BJP ministers can’t hide their real character. People have seen their real face behind their deceptive facades, said the Panthers leaders.
