BJP launches helpline service for Yatris
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: The State unit of BJP on Monday launched helpline service to extend help to the Yatris coming for performing Shri Amarnath Yatra.
This was informed by BJP Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi, alongwith MLA and Chief Whip of the party Rajesh Gupta, while addressing a press conference at Jammu. Sethi and Rajesh told that the party activists have been deputed to be available at Kachi Chawni Office to attend to the grievances and problems of the Yatris on landline number 0191-2577036 and Mobile Nos. 9086575730, 8716867185 and 9906112348. The complaints/problems will be taken up with the appropriate authorities so that no one is made to suffer and the Yatra goes smooth. On the ongoing turmoil in Valley, they called upon the public in Kashmir not to take law in their own hands and understand the nefarious design of the enemies of the nation, who are bent to vitiate peaceful atmosphere in the Valley and elsewhere for the vested interests. They requested the parents in the Valley to exercise restraint on their wards and not allow them to take law in their own hands. The incidents which have taken place in last three days are unfortunate and loss of lives of citizens is always painful.
Sethi said that the militants killed by security forces is notable success for maintaining law and order and every person who takes up weapons against the nation and the citizens of India should be prepared to meet his end. Such type of elements have no place in any civilised society. Militants like Burhan are creation of extremism and intolerance of peaceful co-existence and elements like them have to be neutralised to ensure peace and stability to common man. Rajesh noted that unfortunately even some mainstream politicians who had enjoyed power in recent past, have been making statements which are provocative and glorifying separatism and militants, which has led to more confusion and loss of death of civilians. Such leaders are playing with fire for their pitty political gains and have no regards to the loss of lives of citizens just to score political point. Sethi and Gupta said that as government is performing well to the expectations of the masses, the present situation is being exploited to corner government, which effort will fail miserably.
