JAMMU: BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma, in his condolence message, said that the demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who was a mature and dedicated leader whose presence was needed for the State and its people as he had been working towards taking the State to new heights in development and providing a corruption free administration has resulted in an unbridgeable void in the State.
State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Members of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, Shamsher Singh Manhas, MLC Ramesh Arora (Adv.), State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, while expressing their condolence, said that he had fully carried the coalition Dharma and endeavoured for the full participation of the people of the three regions in the affairs of the State.
Meanwhile, led by State President Sat Sharma (C.A), a team of party leaders Ashok Kaul, MLC Ramesh Arora, MLAs Dr. Devinder Manyal and Rajesh Gupta, left for Srinagar to participate in last rites of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed.

In his condolence message, Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, describing Mufti as an undaunted nationalist leader from J and K said he was the only Kashmiri Muslim leader who rose to the position of the Union Home Minister of India when V.P Singh was the Prime Minister.
Bhim said that Mufti sahib had written a political history of J and K with his courage and commitment to Indian nationalism by signing an Accord with RSS controlled BJP in J and K.
