JAMMU: State unit of BJP welcomed the inauguration of classes of IIT in Paloura, Jammu, by the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Parkash Javedkar. It has proved that BJP stands to fulfill all promises made to the public of Jammu.
“Inception of IIT in Jammu will bring in development and usher the region in new vista of progress which will benefit whole State and especially Jammu region”, said Sunil Sethi, Chief Spokesperson J&K BJP in a statement issued here on Saturday. He said that IIT is prestigious institute and its inauguration is realisation of dreams of many students of the region who will get quality education with placements. He further said that IIT complex will put Nagrota and Jammu on the horizons of development.
Sethi also said that BJP will provide AIIMS to Jammu as per commitment and all facilities will be provided to local industry and businessmen to ensure progress with peace.
“The State under Government of BJP in alliance with PDP is providing avenues of equitable progress to all regions of the State and for the first time people of Jammu are getting benefits at par with Kashmir. In the present situation the maintenance of peace in Jammu is contribution of peace loving citizens of Jammu who have refused to be swayed by communal forces”, he added.
