BHADARWAH : BJP Unit Bhadarwah on Sunday celebrated Accession Day of Jammu and Kashmir in the premises of Seri Bazaar Bhadarwah in which workers of BJP all around Bhadarwah participated and expressed their views under the chairmanship of Des Raj Katal senior BJP leader .
BJP leaders hosted the National Flag at Lakshmi Narayan Chowk, Seri Bazaar Bhadarwah to celebrate the day.
“It was on this historic day that the State of Jammu and Kashmir acceded to the Indian dominion when the then Maharaja Hari Singh used his authority and signed the Instrument of Accession on 26th October, 1947,” Katal said while addressing the gathering.
He said while the national festivals like Independence and Republic Days are of great importance, Accession Day will also be celebrated by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Katal alleged that Kashmir based leaders have been making utterances on it and questioning the accession to divert the attention of the masses from the real issues and the failure of the government to come to the expectations of the people.
