BJP candidates seek vote against discrimination

JAMMU: On the last day of election campaign the BJP candidate from Nagrota Constituency Nand Kishore Sharma on Thursday conducted a tour of various areas of his constituency including Chalat, Sadi, Jkadi, Talwari, Tansu and Pagand areas.
He also interacted with the people there and appealed to them to support him and cast their vote in his favour on the day of election in Nagrota Constituency.
Addressing the people, Nand Kishore said that due to the decade’s old long rule of discrimination, the leaders of PDP, NC and Congress provided only the rule of corruption in this State and the people deprived to get any development in the State as well as the constituency.
Assuring the people about the development and clean governance in the State, the BJP candidate from Jammu West Constituency Sat Sharma asked the people to support him for the formation of next government in the State.
On the last day of election campaign, the BJP candidate intensified his tour in Jawahar Nagar, Shiv Nagar and Krishna Nagar areas and interacted with the people there. He also appealed to the people to vote in his favour, so that he can serve them for the next six years in a better way and started the development works, which are pending for past many years.
Meanwhile, the BJP candidate from Raipur Domana Constituency Bali Bhagat toured the areas of Burn, Chak Mania, Bajuan and Patoli villages to seek more public support in his favour.
Addressing the people, Bhagat said that it is only the BJP, which can bring the State on the path of development, after the successive governments in this State failed to initiate any development activity to make this State a model among the other states. The campaign of the BJP candidate from Jammu East Rajesh Gupta culminated here with an enormously successful public rally at Hari Singh Park on the banks of the river Tawi. The star of the rally was the cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu former MP. In his imitable style, Sidhu regaled the audience with his trade mark oratory, poetry and idioms.
In a thunderous applause Sidhu asked the people of Jammu to throw out of the ground the corrupt and inept parties like Congress, PDP and NC the same way a batsman hits the ball out of the ground for a six.
He was felicitated by Rajesh Gupta who presented to him a portrait of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. He was profusely garlanded by the dignitaries present on the dais.
In order to seek more public support in his favor the BJP candidate and sitting MLA from Marh Constituency Sukhnandan Kumar organised a party workers meet in which a large number of people as well as the senior party leaders participated and assured their full support in his favour.
Addressing the party workers, Sukhnandan said that for the last more than five years, he has done many development works for the development of this constituency, but still many have to be done in this regard as the constituency still sans development.
He also appealed to the people to vote in his favor and fulfill the party’s ongoing Mission 44 plus.
