JAMMU: Alleging that the Kathua region was neglected by the successive governments in this state, BJP candidate for Kathua Constituency Rajiv Jasrotia said that in order to put an end to this discrimination, the people must vote for the BJP.
Jasrotia intensified his election campaign and toured Ward Nos. 1, 4, 5 and 6 and interacted with the people there.
On the occasion, MP Anju Bala from Uttar Pradesh also accompanied him and sought the public support in the favour of BJP candidate.
Addressing the people, Anju Bala highlighted the achievements of PM Modi led government at the Centre and said, it is now the turn of Jammu and Kashmir to witness a development on large scale.
However alleging that the Congress party always supported the corrupt rule by PDP and NC in the State and supported them to form their governments, BJP candidate from Darhal Constituency Puran Singh said that the people are yearning for a change and want to teach such the political parties a lesson, which used to discriminate with them and provided them hallow assurances to mitigate their sufferings.
He was addressing the people during his tour to Sadda area and urged them to vote in his favour and help their party to form government in the State as BJP is the only party, which can provide them good and clean governance in this State.
Stressing the people to provide their full support for BJP in fulfilling their Mission 44 plus in this State, the BJP candidate from Bani Constituency Jeevan Lal said that BJP is the only party, which can bring the development and prosperity for this State, which is still recognised as one of most backward states of this country.
