Only BJP can bring development, prosperity in JK: Sidhu

SUNDERBANI: It is the BJP only, which can bring the development and prosperity in this State, this was claimed by veteran cricketer and BJP senior leader Navjot Singh Sidhu in Sunderbani area.
Sidhu was here in Sunderbani to address a public rally in support of BJP candidate from Sunderbani Constituency Ravinder Raina. On the occasion the people gave BJP star campaigner a warm welcome and raised slogans in his favor.
Addressing the people, Sidhu said that it is very unfortunate that the NC, PDP and Congress despite after ruling the State for many years, failed to provide the people the basic amenities.
“These parties rule only for their votes but were least concerned about the people, who voted in their favour. They forgot all the promises they made to the people but again, when the time of voting is nearer, these shameless leaders are now asking the people to vote for them” he said and asked them, “What they had done during their tenure of six years in this State.”
He further asked the people to vote for the BJP candidate if they really want the development in this constituency.
Earlier the BJP candidate from Sunderbani also addressed the rally and appealed to the people to vote in his favour.
HIRANAGAR: The BJP candidate from Hiranagar constituency Kuldeep Kumar also appealed to the people to vote for BJP and help them to fulfill their mission 44 plus, needed for the formation of next government in the State.
Addressing on the occasion, he said the previous MLA failed to do anything for the development of this constituency and the people fool by providing them false promises to fulfill their demands.
He said the border people are suffering a lot due to the firing by Pakistan forces, but the previous government at Centre and local government under the leadership NC and Congress failed to provide them some relief to meet their demands during past six years in State.
He said, “The present government which is now headed by dynamic leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will definitely do something to solve their issues.”
Kathua: Continuing their election campaign throughout Jammu Province, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders along with candidates held various public meetings on Sunday.
Stepping up his election campaign in Kathua Constituency, the BJP candidate Rajiv Jasrotia conducted a door to door campaign in Barwal, Darhala, Aryan and Padyai villages.
Addressing the people, Jasrotia appealed to the voters to support BJP on 20th December and caste vote in favour of party, which means the development, peace and the prosperity for the State.
Rajiv Jasrotia said that all sections of the society are now fed up with the performance shown by the previous governments as well as the Coalition Government, who failed to satisfy the people with their working.
He further said. “Now, Narendra Modi wants to enter into Jammu and Kashmir, so we will welcome him and fulfill his mission 44 plus in this State.”
Bani: Promising to the people about the revival and promotion of tourism sector in the Bani Constituency, the BJP candidate from Bani area Jeevan Lal asked the people to vote for BJP to bring development in this constituency, which was ignored by the previous governments in this State.
Addressing the people, during his election campaign in Sadrota, Bajal and Patwal areas, the BJP candidate said that the Bani Constituency despite being affluent in the tourism activities failed to attract the tourists as the previous government headed by NC, Congress failed to pay any attention towards the basic needs of people of this constituency as a result the constituency has become a backward one as compared to other adjoining constituencies of the State.
“BJP is the only party, which is committed for the development of this State on equality basis,” he said.
Nagrota: The BJP candidate from Nagrota Nand Kishore Sharma today assured the people that if he is voted to power will definitely develop this constituency, after the previous governments failed to fulfill their commitments made to them.
While addressing the people during his tour to Jandial, Ranjan, Gour and Kanch Chargal areas the BJP leader said, “At the time of election, the leaders of all political parties promised people to fulfill their demands but after being elected and when they become a minister in government, they forgot all the promises and did not care about the people, who voted in his favor.”
The BJP leader asked the people to teach a lesson to such a leaders, who failed to fulfill their commitments after being a MLA or a minister.
Sutechgarh: Asking the people of Sutehgarh Constituency for their support, the BJP candidate from this constituency and the sitting MLA Sham Choudhary today said during his last tenure the constituency witnessed development on large scale but still it needs more development.
Sham Choudhary said that during his last tenure he tried his best to fulfill all his commitments made to them, but if any demand is still pending, then they must give him another chance to serve them.
He also said, due to the selective approach of NC-Cong Coalition Government in the State, the people of this constituency suffered a lot as no big project was sanctioned in the past six years of their rule.
