MENDHAR: A religious function on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Baba Beeram Sghah was organized in Kapoor Enclave in the Border Tehsil Mendhar in which large number of the devotees participated. In this largely attended function where people including men, women and children from Poonch, Rajouri, Arhi, Harni, Mankote, Darana came to pay obeisance to Sadguru Baba Beeram Shah on his Birthday. The main function started after cutting of Birthday Cake. The function was held under the aegis of present Beeram Shahi Guru Ved Viyas Datta Ji in which the devotees recited Bhajan Kirtan. Datta ji threw light on the life and history of Baba Beeram Shah and in the end performed Ardas. A Vishal Langar was also organised for the Sangat. Prominent among those who organised the function include Jagdish Chander, Kamal Kapoor, Ashwani Kapoor, Vishwa Mitter and Piyush Sharma.
