Range Level T-20 Cricket Tournament

KATHUA: Billawar Cricket Club beat Kathua XI Cricket Club by five wickets in the final and won the trophy of Range Level T-20 Cricket Tournament 2022-23 organized by Range Police Headquarter Jammu under Civic Action Programme at Sports Ground DPL Kathua, here.
Earlier batting first after winning the toss, Kathua XI Cricket Club scored 158 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Monu was top scorer with quick-fire 44 runs off 12 balls studded with six sixes.
In reply, Billawar Cricket Club easily chased the given target making 159 runs for the loss of five wickets. Akshit Manhas played a match winning knock of 65 runs off 35 balls with the help of eight boundaries and four sixes. Ronit also played well and scored 40 runs off 30 balls studded with three sixes and three boundaries.
For his best batting performance, Akshit Manhas was declared as Man of the Match.
In the closing ceremony, DIG JSK Range Jammu Shakti Kumar Pathak was the chief guest and SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Jamwal was the Guest of Honour and Staff Officer to DIG Jammu Rajinder Singh Katoch, Addl. SP Kathua Suresh Kumar Chib JKPS were the Special Guests.
DySP Headquarters Kathua Shammi Kumar, DySP DAR Kathua Subash Chander, DySP RPHQ Jatinder Singh Sambyal, Insp. Anju Pandita along with general public were also present to boost the morale of players.
The committee members of Range Police Headquarters Jammu were also present for smooth functioning of the event.
The final match attracted a large number of gatherings of the general public as well as police personnel.
