JAMMU: Cricket unites the entire nation like no other sport, where every match is a story waiting to be told. With an aim to capture this cricket fever, BIG FM, one of the leading radio networks in the country, hosted season 1 of BIG Cricket League in Jammu. The cricket extravaganza kicked off on October 15th, enthralling fans and enthusiasts with a continuous spectacle of night matches that culminated on the evening of October 29th. All matches were scheduled as exhilarating night fixtures. The cricket league spanned 10 thrilling match days, all hosted at the iconic Greenfields in Gandhi Nagar. The inaugural season of the ZOR SE CHOR-BIG Cricket League (BCL) witnessed the participation of 12 corporate teams, these includes BDO Marh-11, Jammu Jammers, Blue Moon, Soul Fit Warriors, Computer Dealer Association, JKCA, Architect-11, Gennext-11, Baniya Super Market, Dedicated Cricket Club, DCCA & United Cricket Club qualifying to the finals, team Blue Moon and BDO Marh11 battled it out on the field and team Blue Moon emerged as winner. A distinguished line-up of guests graced the BIG Cricket League season 1on each match day. On October 15th, the event was inaugurated by DC Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya. The cricketing extravaganza continued to shine with names like JMC Commissioner – Rahul Yadav, G Prassana Ramaswamy- Administrative Secretary-Transport Department-J&K, ADC Jammu Harvinder Singh, DIG Traffic Sridhar Patil, SSP Traffic Jammu Fiesel Qureshi, Mohan Lal, SSP Railways and Anissa Nabi were the special guests. The grand finale on 29th Oct witnessed an unforgettable evening with Anand Jain, IGP Jammu Zone as the guest of honour.
