Bhim for one constitution pan-India

NEW DELHI: Chief Patron National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh on Sunday asserted that Parliament of India should ensure one constitution for entire country by amending Article 370. He was addressing an International Seminar on J&K at Indian International Centre New Delhi.
He said that the problem can be resolved by amending Article 370 and declaring that Constitution of India shall be applicable to the country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir with same flag so that residents of Jammu and Kashmir shall be entitled to all fundamental rights.
Prof. Abdul Ghani Bhat former Chairman of Hurriyat Conference, Rishadi Kabali former MP, Justice Rajinder Sachar, former Chief Justice Delhi High Court, Yusuf Tarigami, CPM leader, Gulam Hassan Mir, former Minister in J&K, Ashok Bhan, Congress leader and Supreme Court advocate Mani Shankar Aiyar, former Union Minister John Dayal and Nasreen Hamid, Chairperson Global Women Lib also spoke on the occasion.
Prof. Bhim Singh called on parliament to take a decision with firm conviction to integrate Jammu and Kashmir with India as was done on 26th January 1950 with respect to 577 States.
