Bhim elected unopposed to Supreme Court Bar Association

JAMMU: Prof Bhim Singh, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court was declared elected unopposed for the post of Senior Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).
Singh stands elected third time as Senior Executive Member of the SCBA. The election to the Bar Association of the Supreme Court shall be held 14th December, 2016 for year 2016-17.
Singh was elected twice as Advocate for the Bar Association between 1985 and 2000. He was elected twice as a Senior Advocate for the Supreme Court Bar Association as a Senior Executive Member in 2013 and 2014. He was proposed by R.K Gupta, S.K Bandopadhyay and Dinesh Kumar Garg for the Senior Membership. He was given a warm welcome by several friends of the Supreme Court when he visited the Headquarters of Supreme Court Bar Association this afternoon. Bhim assured that he shall do whatever is possible to enhance the prestige and credibility of the noble profession of the lawyers fraternity.
