UDHAMPUR: Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur organised a Christmas celebration function in the college premises on Friday. The function began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the distinguished guest Pastor Charandas, Pastor Danish, Pastor Bakshi and youth Pastor Andrew. They were accompanied by Chief Patron of the College Ashok Khajuria, Prof. P.L Suri, Principal Bhaskar Degree College, members of management and faulty members.
A welcome address was rendered by Prof. P.L Suri, on this occasion where he welcomed the distinguished guests. He stressed how we should take the message of secularism and unite our country and the youth plays a very vital role here.
Young Pastor Andrew along with Alive Youth Group gave enthralling performance as carol singing. The students participated enthusiastically along with them. The peace message given by the distinguished guests was to have harmony with all and to pray for world peace.
Vote of thanks was presented by Shiva Padha, Incharge Co-Curricular Committee. She thanked all eminent guests who graced the occasion and requested everyone to have the spirit of Christ and Christmas in ourselves.
