JAMMU: The Congress President has approved the appointment of Bharat Priye as the Chairman of the Kisan Congress, Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, with immediate effect.
Priye’s appointment comes as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its outreach and support to the farming community in the Union Territory. Known for his active engagement with grassroots issues, his leadership is expected to invigorate the Kisan Congress wing in Jammu & Kashmir.
The Congress Party expressed confidence in Priye’s commitment to championing farmers’ rights and addressing agricultural concerns in the region.
