Bharat for making Jammu heritage tourist destination

JAMMU: Peoples Democratic Party leader and its candidate from Jammu East, Bharat Chowdhary on Sunday conducted door to door campaign at various areas adjoining Circular Road including Paharian Mohalla, Gujjar Nagar, Peer Kho, etc.
The inhabitants of the area appreciated the efforts of Bharat Chowdhary, as he visited these areas number of times to listen to their woes, since he joined PDP four years ago. At the same time they expressed their disappointment with the sitting BJP MLA for having left them in lurch since last elections six years ago. They also resented fake promises being made by the Congress candidate, whose party could have provided succor to them, being in power since last 12 years but has only promoted corruption through misrule and mismanagement of public funds.
While addressing the people and interacting with them at various places, Bharat Chowdhary assured them that he will make all possible efforts to address their genuine problems and will always be available to serve them. He asked the young voters to support a young candidate like him and pro-people agenda of PDP. While interacting with locals, Bharat Chowdhary highlighted the issue of unemployment. He said that special efforts are required to create job avenues for these youth. He said that he is committed to develop Jammu as a smart city and heritage tourist destination which will create thousands of jobs for the unemployed. He also promised that special efforts shall be made to empower and equip these youths for better jobs and employment opportunities.
