Bhalla reviews facilities for border migrants at Deoli, Salehar
JAMMU: Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports Raman Bhalla on Thursday visited Deoli in Golden Palace besides Government High Schools at Salehar and at Rehal of Bishnah town and reviewed facilities being arranged by district administration like food, tents, drinking water, electricity, transportation and proper rehabilitation of migrated families of Arnia town.
Senior officers of PHE, Revenue, PDD and Red Cross Socity accompanied the minister.
Bhalla asked the accompanied officers to provide all basic facilities to the border firing affected villagers of Arnia town and remain present in the camps arranged for at Safer places in Bishnah town. He assured the border firing affected people of Arnia village that government is making all out efforts to provide all basic amenities to them at safe places. The minister expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families and injured and assured them all help from State Government in shape of ex-gratia to next kin of the dead livestock, border firing victims and injured besides taking measures for their protection.
