RAJOURI: In view of recent media reports regarding disbursement of scholarship received from various departments/ agencies of the Government, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has constituted a high level Committee to examine the mechanism of scholarship distribution, examination loopholes if any, fix responsibilities and suggest remedies to ensure fair and transparent mechanism of the process of facilitation of scholarships for the benefit of the students.
The Committee shall examine the matter in light of the recent media reports and shall submit a factual report with regard to the matter. The members of the Committee are Prof Ghulam Hassan Dar, Dean, School of Biosciences and Biotechnology Convener, Prof Nigath Basu, Dean, School of Education, Prof S.K Gupta, Dean, School of Management Studies and Majid Bashir Malik, Assistant Professor, Computer Sciences.
R.C Bhat, Assistant in the office of Dean of Students shall coordinate and assist the Committee. The Committee shall submit comprehensive report within a period of seven days.
