JAMMU: Continuous sacrilegious acts in Jammu city to disrupt the peaceful harmony and to create communal tension as the plan of action to distort the Amarnath Yatra are being executed by some fringe elements.
This was stated by State President, Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG), Ashok Gupta who led a procession rally along with party activists against the two incidents of Nanak Nagar and Aap Shambho temples.
In the recent events of Aap Shamboo and Shiv Temple of Nanak Nagar where the idols of Lord Shiva were disgraced and discredited by two individuals belonging to two different religions clearly indicates towards the fact that the incidents are being focused towards communal disharmony among the religions.
Such incidents put point towards Pakistan’s involvement targeting the fourth coming Amarnath Yatra.
“Lack of coordination of the local administration and the intelligence has not been able to curb the tension and restlessness among the people of Jammu,” he alleged.
He further stated that the security should be beefed up at all the religious places and an order should be passed by the local administration for the installation of cameras inside the places of worship so that in the near future if incidents like this happens there would be recorded footage due to which swift action can be taken against the culprit.
A large number of Sikhs joined the rally signifying secularism and religious harmony among the two religions.
Birbal, Roop Lal, Fauji, Bantu, Bittoo, Lal Singh, Raj Kumar, Surinder and Parkash were also present.
