JAMMU: An Awareness-cum-training Programme on the implementation of proposed GST was conducted by Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) in collaboration with Commercial Tax Department, here on Monday.
The programme was held in presence of Lalit Mahajan, President, Ajay Langer, General Secretary, Viraaj Malhotra, Secretary BBIA, Pardeep Chib Assistant Commissioner, Arvind Sawhney CTO Circle (V and I), Sania Haq Khan CTO-J and Neeraj Sharma CTO Circle-I of Commercial Tax Department.
Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA appreciated the steps taken by Commissioner, Commercial Tax Department for conducting the seminar to educate the industrial sector in respect GST and to work out the ways and means for the implementation of proposed GST regime for the industrial sector in the State.
Neeraj Sharma CTO Circle -I highlighted the various procedures to be adopted by the unit holders to register under the proposed GST.
A detailed presentation was given to highlight the various provisions of the GST. Vote of thanks was presented by Viraaj Malhotra, Secretary, BBIA.
