KISHTWAR: People remained stranded after Batote-Kishtwar National Highway(NN1B) blocked near Drabshala area of Kishtwar due to heavy landslides on Friday evening.
According to reports, the road got closed after huge landslides and boulders hits Kuligard area, 27 KM from Kishtwar. “Huge landslide and heavy boulders has blocked the National Highway at Kuligard area near Drabshala . we are stranded here since last half an hour but no one is taking heed to restore the road,” said a stranded passenger near Drabshalla.
However, a JCB was put into service by the concerned authorities to restore the road but was unable to restore it till last report came in.
