SRINAGAR: Bashir Ahmed Dar has been elected President of the District Football Association (DFA) Ganderbal in a general body meeting held at Ganderbal, here yesterday.
Riyas Ahmad Magray and Ghulam Gelani Malik have been made General Secretary and Treasurer of the district body respectively, a handout issued by the J and K Football Association (JKFA) here today informed.
The election meeting was presided over by Vice President North Zone JKFA, Peer Siraju Din, who was assisted by B.A Bashrat, Fayaz Ahmad Sofi, Tariq Madni and Bilal Ahmad Panjabi.
Prominent sports organiser of Ganderbal, Sheikh Mohamad Shafi was elected as Patron of DFA Ganderbal. In this 15-member house, 12 were present for the process.
