BARAMULLA: The 2nd District Baramulla Taekwondo Championship, organised by Baramulla Taekwondo Association got underway at Ahmad Complex, Delina Baramulla under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA).
Around 100 participants have registered for the competition in various weight and age categories representing clubs and the institutions.
Haji Ghulam Ahmad Mir was the Chief Guest, who along with Neelofar Masood encouraged the players. Also present were Mumtaz Nazir and Ghulam Hassan Mir.
The three-day championship is being held under the supervision of president of the district association, Neelofar Masood.
The technical panel for the event comprised Danish Manzoor (international player), Aabid Ayoub, Hashim Majeed, Tanveer Ahmed, Mohsin Ali, Shahnawaz, Sahil, Firdosa Nabi, Gulshan Ara, Tabasum and Sadaf Ali.
