Bar to resume work today

JAMMU: In view of the withdrawal of privilege motion moved in the Legislative Council by a legislator against a judicial officer, J and K High Court Bar Association Jammu on Sunday decided to resume work in all courts and tribunals from Monday.
The decision came in a meeting held under the chairmanship of President of the Association Advocate Abhinav Sharma.
Earlier, Bar Association Jammu and NC representatives including Devender Singh Rana met to resolve the issue. Rana informed that the withdrawal of privilege motion has been moved before Chairman Legislative Council. Senior Advocate V.R Wazir, S.S Nanda, Anil Mahajan, Rupinder Singh, Sunil Malhotra and Deewakar Sharma were also present.
J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu had suspended work for three days in protest against moving of privilege motion against a judicial officer.
