RAMBAN: Banihal Warriors lifted T-20 Cricket Tournament trophy by defeating Chanderkot Champion by five wickets in the final played, here on Monday.
Earlier, batting first, Chanderkot Champion scored 166 runs for a loss of eight wickets which in reply, Banihal Warriors chased by making 167 in 19 overs for the loss five wickets.
The Tournament organised by District Police Ramban under Civic Action Programme (CAP) was inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Randeep Kumar. During the tournament, around 14 teams were participated.
The conclusion ceremony was attended by SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar, Additional SP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary, Dy. SP DAR Ramban Taffail Mir and other police and civil officers of district.
Irshad Ahmed was adjudged as Man of the Series and Ishfaq Ahmed was declared as the Man of the Match. Both of them are from Banihal Warriors.
